How We Ran the August 2026 Competitive Scan.

The comparison table on the Influencer Data API page summarizes a scan of competing influencer data and influencer marketing platforms. This page documents what we checked, where, and when, so every claim on that page can be audited.

What We Checked

Creator-to-brand sponsorship data exposed through a public API
A searchable brand directory available via API
Brand-level sponsorship spend estimates via API
Fractional, per-field API billing
A first-party MCP server (vendor-built, not a third-party wrapper or automation bridge)
A hosted remote MCP server
A listing on the official MCP registry

Sources Reviewed

For each platform we reviewed its public API documentation, its marketing site, the official MCP registry, community MCP directories (Smithery, PulseMCP, Glama), and vendor GitHub organizations. Rows on the comparison table reflect what each platform documents publicly, not private or enterprise-only offerings.
