Paste any YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok handle. Every metric is placed on the percentile distribution of a big-data index of tens of millions of creators in the same follower-size bucket — the raw numbers and where they sit, with no score and no rating.

How it works
How is the percentile computed?
It is read straight off a big-data distribution, not from a rule of thumb. Every day we recompute engagement-and-reach distributions across tens of millions of YouTube / Instagram / TikTok creators in our index, bucketed by follower size (1K, 10K, 100K, 1M, 10M+). For each metric we store the full 101-point quantile curve for the bucket, then place the creator's value on that curve. “Top 12%” means 88% of YouTube creators in the same size bucket have a lower value on that one metric.
Is there an overall score?
No — deliberately. Every metric is reported on its own, and we don't combine them into a single number or attach a rating to any of them. Which metrics matter, and what a given percentile means for a particular creator, depends on their format, category and goals — so that call is yours, not ours.
What do the per-post numbers mean?
Each recent post shows its own views, likes, comments and engagement rate, plus how its reach compares to that creator's own recent median — so 1.80× their median means the post reached 80% more than their typical one. Every post also carries the same distribution charts as the channel metrics above, on the same peer curves, so you can see where an individual post lands and not only the creator's average. One thing worth knowing when you read them: those curves are built from creator averages over a recent window, and a single post swings much wider than an average does, so an individual post sits further toward the edges than it would on a true post-by-post distribution. Read a post's percentile as “how this post compares to a typical creator's typical post”.
Why compare within a follower bucket?
Because engagement rate trends down as audience size grows. A 5% engagement rate is an ordinary number at 5K followers and an extraordinary one at 5M, so a single global average would be misleading for almost everyone. Every percentile here is computed only against creators in the same size bucket.
How fresh is the data?
CreatorDB pulls each creator's public stats roughly weekly. The benchmark distribution refreshes daily. Updated daily.
